Girgensons was a non-factor after period one. Expected more from a guy "on the bubble".

Grigorenko is a floater. No sense of urgency. Ever.

Flynn played his a$$ off.

McBain is a man with something to prove, and it shows.

Risto made some curious (rookie) plays, but his outlet passes are crisp and right on the tape.

He pinches at the right time and he stays home when he has to. He's always in position. In my opinion, he's earned a Buffalo roster spot. I think Goaltenders take the pre-season shootout pretty serious...This shootout was interesting and sad at the same time for both teams......
