Girgensons was a non-factor after period one. Expected more from a guy "on the bubble".

Grigorenko is a floater. No sense of urgency. Ever.

Flynn played his a$$ off.

McBain is a man with something to prove, and it shows.

Risto made some curious (rookie) plays, but his outlet passes are crisp and right on the tape.

"Pysyk: Scored his first goal of the preseason and has added an assist. i swear, this kid is developing into Scott Niedermayer clone. His skating is exquisite, as is his ability to think the game. He pinches at the right time and he stays home when he has to. He's always in position. In my opinion, he's earned a Buffalo roster spot. Waive Sulzer and/or McBain to make room for Pysyk and Ristolainen"

U should have listened to my advice about limiting the # of words in ya blogs...

I get chastised for ripping Garth, but this crap is exactly why he deserves it.

Actually, I blame Ek for keeping this @$#%

Well, if the Leafs could actually hit the twine instead of the post, they might be a decent team this year...

Brilliant shootout attempt as well.
Should see a lot more of him as the season progresses.

Yup, the quality of blogger has increased a fair amount recently, but I see no reason why Garth gets top billing...

He does that intentionally..No way he could be so foolish to believe what he writes..

Makes for a good laugh ...

It's proof that EK doesn't expect his writers to be legit because if he did there no way Garth would be here...

Well, I guess that makes sense. The more ridiculous the blogs, the more comments there are.

I wish this game had counted, because it really was a classic.

30 shooters in the shootout is just ridiculous.

Yep...

That said Buf/Sabres have plenty of great fans/support on this site and deserve a legit guy blogging for the team...

I'm puzzled why EK doesn't take the support serious and look for a legit Sabres blogger...

Kevin Freiheit is pretty decent. He's young and a bit green, but otherwise he's solid...

But he never blogs.

Sabres fans are like Canadian hockey fans. We need constant content that isn't bordering on the ridiculous (see: Garf)

WTF was rediculous about this blog? What I find rediculous is you and the other posters who are on here constantly and have nothing to offer but (frank)ing whining and female doging. Why don't you guys get a life outside of a friggen hockey message board.

You and your ignorant twit compadres make coming to this site a real effort.

Enroth seemed pissed after this. He took a pretty good swipe at Ranger. Not sure why he was so uptight about that.

I think Goaltenders take the pre-season shootout pretty serious...This shootout was interesting and sad at the same time for both teams......
